Aromatic, piquant flavoring oil. Made from toasted sesame seeds. Unlike regular sesame oil, this product has a dark color, highly scented aroma and pungent flavor that contribute to its general popularity throughout China, but especially in the northern provinces. A quarter to half teaspoon of Sesame Oil will add an exotic quality to pork and beef stir fry when added just before serving to preserve its aroma. And a few drops will do wonders for hearty soups and western salad dressings.
